Currently in Virginia we have seven (7) Community College Systems participating in higher education or certificate programs focusing on the Fire Service Community. In the fall of 2006 many of the course curriculums were changed to come in line with the VDFP Stakeholders recommnedations to follow the NFA model. For individual college programs, contact the specific institution you have an interest in applying for.
